A Letter to Our Community
An honest update from the founder: how we kept NobleBlocks alive through the build, exactly where the liquidity went, and the public, verifiable commitment to pay every cent back.
Hi everyone,
I've been putting this post off for weeks, and I think that's exactly why I need to write it.
First — thank you. I don't say that as a throwaway opener. I mean it. The people who have stuck with NobleBlocks through the quiet stretches, who kept holding when there was very little to show, who messaged us asking how things were going and got slower replies than you deserved… you are the reason there is anything to launch at all.
I owe you some honesty.
What actually happened
A few months ago, we ran out of cash.
Not "running low." Out. The build was bigger than what we'd budgeted for, the data licensing costs were brutal, and the AI side of the platform — the part that actually makes NobleBlocks worth using — turned out to need a lot more engineering than we'd planned for.
We sat with the problem for a while. The options weren't great:
- Pause the build, lose momentum, and probably lose the team.
- Take outside money, dilute the community, and end up building someone else's product.
- Or, quietly pull from our own liquidity to keep the lights on, finish the thing, and pay every cent back the moment we could stand on our own.
We went with the third one. I want to be straight with you that we didn't shout about it at the time — partly because we were still in the middle of fighting fires, partly because announcing "we're funding the build out of the pool" mid-build helps nobody. But we always intended to come clean the moment we could see the finish line.
We can see it now. So here we are.
The actual numbers
Between July 2025 and May 2026 I pulled liquidity from the NOBL/WETH pool nine times. Every withdrawal went back into building NobleBlocks — nowhere else.

What you actually got for it
I'm not going to pretend the build was tidy. Some weeks were great, some weeks we tore down work we'd just finished. But the platform we're about to launch is genuinely something we're proud of:
- A research database with over 300 million papers indexed and searchable.
- AI-driven search that actually understands what you're asking — not the keyword-and-filter dance researchers are used to.
- Our own MCP integration, so NobleBlocks plugs directly into the AI tools researchers are already using day to day.
- A Literature Review tool that turns what used to be a week of screening into something you can do in an afternoon.
- All the boring-but-critical stuff underneath — search clusters, ranking, vector stores, security — built to handle real load.
We're in final testing right now. This isn't "coming soon." We're going live this week.
What I'm promising you, in writing
Every WETH, every NOBL — it all goes back. Not in some vague future. As revenue and partnership flows start coming in, we'll top the pool back up in increments, and I'll publish each top-up the same way I'm publishing this letter: with the transaction hash, on the blog, in the channels, so anyone can verify it.
That commitment is the whole point of this post. I'd rather be embarrassed once today than have any of you wondering for the next year where the liquidity went.
What I'm asking from you
Two things.
One — a bit more patience while we cross the line. There will be bugs in the first week. There will be things we missed. We will fix them fast, but please give us the runway to do it properly.
Two — when we go live, share it. Post it, send it to the friend who's drowning in PDFs, tag the researcher you know who still pays $40 a month for a worse product. Every new user makes the platform stronger, makes the token underneath it stronger, and makes the liquidity come back faster. The faster you help us grow, the faster we close the loop.
I know that "trust me" doesn't mean much in this space. So I'm not asking you to trust me — I'm asking you to watch. Watch the wallet. Watch the top-ups come back in. Watch the platform.
We wouldn't be here without you. Genuinely. Thank you for hanging on.
See you on the other side of launch.
