The significance of pH value of soil in assessing the soil fertility has been the motivation behind writing this research paper. As the pH of the soil is strongly dependent on the extent of minerals present in it, its pH can be estimated using the mineral data. The soil data belonging to the Kumaun part of Uttarakhand is used to design the prediction models. A machine learning techniaue SVM (support vector machine) has been implemented in MATLAB version R2021a. Three different prediction models with linear, quadratic and cubic kernels are established, and their prediction accuracy is compared.
In this paper, we explore the stochastic viral infection model and show that this model has a unique global solution. We use the method of Lyapunov function to study the stochastic asymptotic stability of equilibrium solution for this model. Finally, the sufficient condition for persistence of the disease is established and our mathematical findings are illustrated.
Various studies across the globe have emphasised that students are subjected to higher stress. Excessive stress could lead to psychological problems like depression and anxiety. The objective of the current study was to assess stress among students High school students.The present study examined the relationship between self- concept, achievement motivation and academic stress among high school students. For the purpose of this study, data has been collected from 100 school students (boys – 50, girls – 50) who were in the range of 16 – 19 years using the random sampling method. Self-concept Questionnaire developed by Raj Kumar Saraswath (1984) and Achievement Motive Test (ACMT) developed by Ray’s Achievement (1990) and Academic Stress scale by Busari (2011) were used for the collection of data. The reliability of Self-concept questionnaire and Achievement Motive Test were 0.91 and 0.87 respectively. The investigator has adopted a survey method for this study. Pearson’s product moment correlation is used to assess the association and independent ‘t’ test was used to assess the differences among the variables and One – way Analysis of variance was used in the analysis of data.
Nowadays, Drone usage is increasing faster than before. They have frequently been employed in civil services. In a number of sectors, including transportation, agriculture, building, and emergency response, drones have grown in significance. Drones can operate in places that are inaccessible to humans, collect data more effectively than conventional techniques, and carry out tasks more quickly. With the development of technology and laws, their use is anticipated to increase in the future. Therefore, it is imperative that drones must become smarter, more private, and more secure as they offer data transfer secrecy and reliability. In this paper, we have proposed a blockchain-based security solution model for the Internet of Drone environment. The proposed method is evaluated on a limited number of pretend drones. Here we may easily authenticate the administrator, add new drones, authenticate a drone, delete drones, get data from drones, save it to a blockchain-based secure system, and securely retrieve that information.
Technology has played a vital role almost in every aspect of our day-to-day life, and education is not an exception in this regard. It has impacted different facets of life and redefined living. Many critical and complex processes can be carried very easily and with greater efficiency with the help of modern technologies. This modern technology has revolutionized the field of education, in fact this technological change makes teaching more effective and learning more enjoyable for the students. Traditionally, teachers lecture in the class room using board and chalk method, while some of the students have open their book and appear to be following. Few might look bored, some may talk with their friends, opportunities for communication and collaboration have been limited to other students in the classrooms. Today, technology enables the forms of communication and collaboration is unimaginable among students. They can share whatever they are learning in the classrooms even with other state students who are tracking the same expedition. Students can have group discussions using the technology-based tools like Zoom meet, Google Meet, etc., they can also collaborate on group projects by sharing learning materials by using these technological tools such as wikis, Google docs, cloud-based apps.
Patients with hepatocellular carcinoma may have a higher chance of survival with earlier detection and treatment. It takes a lot of time and effort to manually identify malignant cells. In order to make decisions that result in an efficient treatment, diagnosis methods based on computational techniques is essential. In this work, deep learning approaches are employed to automatically determine feature representation from sample images using radial basis function networks, as opposed to traditional image-dependent “contextual” feature evaluation by professionals. The primary goal of the proposed model is to detect hepatocellular carcinoma in diagnostic imaging. The suggested model accomplishes this by using pre-processing in two steps, namely image denoising using a Wiener filter and segmentation using region-based segmentation technique. The Radial Basis Function Networks model’s hyper parameters are tweaked using the Salp Swarm optimization Algorithm technique, which is then used to perform the classification of hepatocellular carcinoma. The proposed model showed superior performance compared to the existing methods.
Bank loan approval procedures are essential for financial organization’s as well as borrowers. Conventional loan approval procedures are frequently laborious and mostly based on manual evaluation, which can result in biases and inefficiencies. In this study, we investigate the use of Machine Learning (ML) algorithms to automate the process of bank loan approval. We assess the effectiveness of many classification techniques, such as logistic regression, decision trees, random forests, support vector machines (SVM), and gradient boosting machines (GBM), using a large dataset of past loan applications. Through rigorous experimentation and review, we evaluate the accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score of several algorithms to determine the best successful technique for bank loan prediction. Our findings indicate ML’s potential to improve the efficiency, fairness, and accuracy of loan approval procedures, benefiting both financial institutions and loan applicants.
Artificial Intelligence (AI) has become a transformative force, driving advancements in automation, data analysis, and decision-making across various industries.Its integration plays a pivotal role in shaping the technological landscape and addressing complex challenges in the modern era.This study focuses on the transformative impact of AI in the banking industry, specifically focusing on customer perceptions in Chennai city.Analyzing data from 120 respondents through a structured questionnaire, the research reveals that more than fifty percent customers in the region are aware of AI in banking.The study categorizes 33 variables into three factors, emphasizing Efficiency and Security Optimization, Enhanced Customer Interaction and Transactions, and Advanced Customer Services and Risk Management.Findings indicate a moderate awareness level, suggesting the need for customer education on AI implementation.Targeted awareness campaigns, especially across all age groups, are crucial for fostering positive perceptions.The study underscores the importance of banks embracing adaptability, prioritizing data access and privacy, and collaborating with regulatory bodies to establish ethical guidelines for responsible AI implementation, addressing concerns such as potential job displacement.As AI in banking continues to evolve, this research highlights its growing significance in enhancing efficiency, security, and overall customer experience.
Human Resource Management is an important managerial role that deals with an organization's most valuable asset: its employees. Today, the entire history of HRM is being investigated for its long-term feasibility. To be clear, we all believe that Green Human Resource Management is the most important aspect of long-term sustainability. Green HRM is a form of human resource management that focuses on a company's environmental concerns. Green HRM is described as the application of human resource management policies to encourage the productive use of resources within businesses and to support environmental causes, thus raising employee morale and organisational engagement. The aim of this study was to look at the relationship between green human resource management activities and organisational engagement.

This study examines the shift of lecturers' attitudes during online class, whichis the contemporary teaching method of post-covid19 era. Measuring attitude and effort to shift in attitude towards technology is fundamental in effecting any changes through expertise. This study focuses on shift of lectures’ attitude towards e-learning and online teaching classes and also to explore the relationship between lecturers’ attitudes, online teaching and e-learning process.Online teaching is relatively a new concept in developing countries like India. It has replaced our orthodox traditional education system to the educational technologies (EdTechs) model, where teaching and assessments are conducted online. COVID-19 epidemic has made it mandatory for all the teachers of developing countries to use online platforms for teaching and assessment to support the education sector. Remote teaching and learning conditions through digital channels is possible with latest techniques and technology. The teachers of all discipline need to adapt this technology for the successful execution of online teaching programs and assessments practices. This particular study used a mixed-method and the number of respondents was 52; data collected through online questionnaires framed in Google Form and disseminated through e-mail, Facebook and WhatsApp to the lecturers of higher education in Chennai City. Data was translated into frequency and regression linear. The results showed that 35 lecturers can shift their attitudes toward online classes and remaining 17 lectures have difficulty in shifting to online teaching and prefer traditional classroom methods.

Sool Cho Dharman has registered the lives of Karisal (land) people. It is mainly on how an age gone generation have lived their lif e which is depends on their practical knowledge on nature. He has collected information on how people of the karisal land have worshiped their ancestress in their religious belief system and how they have maintained their ethical values. He has transformed this information into the fictional theme of his novel, Sool. Through this novel one could read how UrulaikKudi people once have lived their lives one with nature. Now they have lost their traditional knowledge, and their life which is very much imbedded in their ethical values. Hence, the novel represents the decadence of ancient way of life with its traditional knowledge system. Subsequently such decadence of living has also lead to destruction of environmental resources such as reservoirs, natural irrigational system and ethnic seeds and trees. Traditional works such as pottery, traditional medicine, palm tree related products and its works, carpentry are also jeopardised by loss of such living. When new foreign breeds of species are introduced here the ethnic breeds are vanished from the face of the earth. Hence, this article tries to showcase the issues and consequences of environmental decadence and the changing social life of karisal people through the novel Sool.
The main focus of today’s competitive business environment is leadership. The upliftment of our society through generations has gone through the various leadership styles, yet despite the contributions and investment in leadership development, there is a fall in the qualities of leadership. Leaders create empowering organizational cultures that produce long-term successful outcomes. Organizational performance is more likely to be influenced by the leadership styles and culture prevailing in the environment. Hence, this study examines the influence of leadership styles and organizational culture on the performance of the employees in chemical companies.
Abstract: The ability to lead is not based on one's character traits but on their demonstrated behavior and a set of honed competencies. Leadership is transformed from an intangible notion into concrete actions and routines that can be taught and learnt by anyone who is up for the task. Successful leaders are able to use their expertise to forge a path forward for their teams. Intelligence on its own is insufficient. Good leadership techniques not only inspire employees to think beyond the box, but also facilitate the implementation of their ideas. Successful leadership practices turn as a colleague, friend, and humanitarian toward everyone in the organization for higher performance, therefore automotive industry executives need to learn the latest management and leadership strategies in the field (Shamir, 1999).Therefore, studies have concentrated on developing more efficient methods of utilizing existing evaluation tools to measure the effect that leadership practices have on organizational performance. To thrive in today's competitive marketplaces, automakers and suppliers alike must constantly innovate and improve their products and services (Arslan & Staub 2013). Research has shown that top executives have a crucial role in driving organizational success (Boal & Hooijberg 2000; Peterson et al 2003). Nonetheless, previous studies' conclusions about the impact of leadership techniques in boosting organizational performance are inconsistent. Therefore, the researcher hoped to use this study to confirm the link between leadership practices and the success of automobile-related organizations in Chennai.
Pensions provide essential financial security in retirement, and India's system has evolved significantly. The Old Pension Scheme (OPS) offered guaranteed benefits but placed a heavy financial burden on the government. In response, the New Pension Scheme (NPS), introduced in 2004, shifted to a market-linked, defined contribution model, creating uncertainty for retirees due to market volatility. To address these concerns, the Unified Pension Scheme (UPS) will be launched in 2025, blending features of both OPS and NPS. The UPS aims to ensure stable retirement benefits while incorporating market investments, providing enhanced security and inflation-linked adjustments. This study is based on secondary qualitative data from newspapers and websites, and analyzes the key features and benefits of UPS, highlighting its role in strengthening retirement security.
Digital transformation has significantly reshaped Human Resource (HR) functions in software service organizations. As these organizations depend heavily on skilled talent, efficient HR operations are essential for competitiveness and scalability. This study examines end-to-end HR process automation within a software service organization, focusing on recruitment administration, onboarding and offboarding, payroll management, employee records management, compliance and policy management, and attendance and leave management. The findings demonstrate substantial improvements in operational efficiency, error reduction, compliance adherence, and employee experience. The research concludes that integrated HR automation enables HR departments to transition from administrative roles to strategic business partners.
The Research paper examines the 1947 Partition of India through the deeply human experiences of women, as portrayed in Urvashi Butalia's The Other Side of Silence: Voices from the Partition and Bapsi Sidhwa's Ice-Candy-Man.While mainstream histories often focus on political negotiations and territorial divisions, these texts shift the lens to women as their bodies, identities, and homes became the battlefields of communal conflict.Butalia's work, grounded in oral histories and personal testimonies, uncovers the silenced narratives of women who endured abduction, sexual violence, displacement, honour killings, and the fraught process of "recovery" by the newly formed states.Her interviews are focussed on trauma, memory, and silence intertwine in shaping women's lives long after the violence subsided.In contrast, Sidhwa's novel uses the innocent perspective of a child narrator to reveal the way the Partition infiltrated everyday domestic spaces, culminating in the brutal abduction of Ayah, an event that symbolises the larger violation of women's bodies during communal upheaval.Together, these works examine a nuanced and compassionate understanding of women's suffering and resilience during Partition.By foregrounding female voices, they challenge patriarchal histories and demonstrate that women's experiences are central and are not supplementary to the narrative of Partition.This study argues that acknowledging these gendered wounds is essential to building a fuller, more humane account of one of the subcontinent's most defining historical ruptures.
