Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi kegiatan pembelajaran daring di rumah peserta didik sebagai upaya mendukung program pemerintah yaitu study from home selama adanya pandemik covid 19 serta tanggapan peserta didik terhadap pembelajaran daring selama sekolah masih diliburkan. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kepustakaan, sehingga pengumpulan informasi serta data didapatkan dengan teknik dokumentasi yaitu pencarian data mengenai hal-hal yang relevan dari berbagai sumber yang ada di perpustakaan seperti buku, majalah, berita, ataupun dokumen lainnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran daring yang dilakukan dirumah masing-masing membuat peserta didik lebih mandiri dan menciptakan motivasi untuk belajar. Selain itu pembelajaran daring menjadi salah satu keberhasilan untuk menciptakan perilaku social distancing sehingga meminimalisir munculnya keramaian yang dianggap dapat berpotensi semakin menyebarnya covid 19 di lingkungan sekolah.

The Impact of Covid-19 to Indonesian Education and Its Relation to the Philosophy of “Merdeka Belajar”

The Covid-19 pandemic is now beginning to spread to the world of education. The Ministry of Education and Culture (MOEC) is currently based on official information, ready with all scenarios, including encouraging online learning for students. This article is a kind of position paper—it clearances one side of a debatable opinion about a hot issue. The aim of a position paper is to persuade the reader that our opinion is valid and defensible. In regards to our position as researchers, then, the point of view is separated into four parts: The philosophy of “Merdeka Belajar”, physical distancing, social distancing and self-quarantine, digital learning in Indonesia to face Covid-19, ‘Merdeka Belajar’, digital learning, Covid-19, and authors’ view.

Integrating SERVQUAL and Kano’s model into QFD for service excellence development

With increasing market competition, it is not sufficient for organizations to rely solely on continuous improvement in order to maintain and develop their competitive edge. There is a need to begin a strategic move towards innovation. This paper proposes an integrated approach involving SERVQUAL, Kano’s model, and quality function deployment. The approach aims to help organizations to evaluate customer satisfaction, to guide improvement efforts in strengthening their weak attributes, and to expedite the development of innovative services through the identification of attractive attributes and embedding them into future services. A case study is presented to evaluate the image of Singapore from the Indonesian tourists’ perspective. Several strong and weak attributes of Singapore tourism were identified and analyzed. Strategies to improve the weak attributes were identified.

Keterlibatan Orangtua dalam Pendampingan Belajar Anak selama Masa Pandemi Covid-19

Kebijakan pemerintah untuk belajar dari rumah selama masa pandemi Covid-19 membuat orang tua semakin banyak terlibat dalam pendampingan anak. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengukur peran orang tua selama anak belajar dari rumah, dan mengukur tingkat pendampingan belajar anak yang dilakukan orang tua selama masa pandemi. Pendekatan kuantitatif dilakukan dengan teknik statistik deskriptif, dan sampel penelitian sebanyak 40 orang tua peserta didik PAUD SKB Cerme Gresik. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan proportional random sampling, serta analisis data dengan descriptive statics frequencies dan persentase. Uji validitas menggunakan korelasi product moment dan Uji reliabilitas menggunakan Alfa Cronbach. Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa orang tua memiliki peran sebagai pembelajar anak, pemenuh kebutuhan anak, pemahaman spiritual, pengawasan, motivasi, dan penyedia fasilitas anak. Pendampingan belajar anak terlihat dari cara orang tua membantu kesulitan tugas anak, menjelaskan materi yang tidak dimengerti anak, dan merespon dengan baik semua pembelajaran daring dari sekolah.

Program evaluation is an activity that aims to collect information from an implementation and a process in an organization consisting of a group of people who participate in decision making. This research uses a literature review method from e-book journals. The purpose of this article is to help teachers in preparing evaluations in an educational program in a school institution. The results of our research, namely analysis of school program evaluation results, show the extent of school program achievements in the previous year. Various policies in the education sector are also presented as a reference for preparing evaluations. The results of this analysis are the starting point for evaluating school programs in previous and subsequent years as well as steps that supervisors must take.

A study of artificial intelligence on employee performance and work engagement: the moderating role of change leadership

Purpose This paper aims to explore employee perceptions of companies engaged in services and banking of the role of change leadership on the application of artificial intelligence (AI) that will impact the performance and work engagement in conditions that are experiencing rapid changes. Design/methodology/approach This study has used a quantitative research approach, and data analysis uses an approach structural equation modeling (SEM) supported by program computer software AMOS 22.0. A total of 357 respondents were involved in this study, but only 254 were qualified. In this study, the respondent is an employee of companies engaged in the services and banking sector in the East Java, Indonesia region. Findings The results reveal that AI has a significant positive effect on employee performance and work engagement. Change leadership positively moderates the influence of AI on employee performance and work engagement. Originality/value The development of this model has a novelty by including the moderating variable of the role of change leadership because, in conditions that are experiencing rapid changes, the role of leaders is essential. After all, leaders are decision-makers in the organization. The development of this concept focuses on studies of companies engaged in services and banking. Employee performance is an essential determinant in the organization because it will improve organizational performance. In addition, the application of AI in organizations will experience turmoil, so that the critical role of leaders is needed to achieve success with employee work engagement.

Budaya Media Sosial, Edukasi Masyarakat, dan Pandemi COVID-19

AbstractThis study wants to explore the public education of COVID-19 through the social and cultural media in it. Furthermore, this research also identifies how the media affect the community and by involving mass media communication in strategies to raise awareness about COVID-19 prevention and prevention efforts. This study uses a qualitative method by utilizing a virtual ethnographic approach that refers to the ethnographic research approach conducted in online settings about the internet and social media. The results show that (1) social media culture in Indonesia can act as a teacher who can educate the public and stimulate in the latest research related to COVID-19; (2) as education for public health services; (3) directing people to their websites and landing pages for information on the latest and most trusted COVID-19; (4) marketing innovative services such as health care social funding services; (5) posts related to case information, photos, and results (with permission) relating to COVID-19 to educate the public; (6) sharing reviews and testimonies of patients who recover as motivation and initial prevention efforts; and (7) providing support among Indonesian citizens in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic.Keywords: Social Media Culture, Public Education, Covid-19 Pandemic AbstrakPenelitian ini ingin mengeksplorasi tentang edukasi masyarakat terhadap COVID-19 melalui media sosial dan budaya yang ada di dalamnya. Lebih lanjut, penelitian ini turut mengidentifikasi bagaimana media mempengaruhi masyarakat dan dengan melibatkan komunikasi media massa dalam strategi untuk meningkatkan kesadaran tentang usaha penanganan dan pencegahan COVID-19. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan memanfaatkan pendekatan virtual etnografi yang mengacu pada pendekatan penelitian etnografi yang dilakukan dalam pengaturan online tentang internet dan media sosial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) budaya media sosial di Indonesia dapat bertindak sebagai guru yang mampu mengedukasi masyarakat dan menstimulasi dalam penelitian terbaru terkait COVID-19; (2) sebagai pendidikan layanan kesehatan masyarakat; (3) mengarahkan masyarakat ke situs web dan halaman arahan mereka untuk informasi terkait COVID-19 terbaru dan terpercaya; (4) memasarkan layanan inovatif seperti layanan dana sosial perawatan kesehatan; (5) posting terkait informasi kasus, foto, dan hasil (dengan izin) yang berkaitan dengan COVID-19 untuk mengedukasi masyarakat; (6) berbagi ulasan dan testimoni pasien yang sembuh sebagai motivasi dan upaya awal pencegahan; dan (7) memberikan dukungan antar warga negara Indonesia dalam menghadapi pandemi COVID-19.Kata kunci: Budaya Media Sosial, Edukasi Masyarakat, Pandemi Covid-19

The Development of Local Wisdom-Based Natural Science Module to Improve Science Literation of Students

<p>The vulnerability of communities in facing volcano disaster is one of the indicators of the low literacy of science. The low knowledge about volcanic material causes it needs to be packed in an attractive learning so that it can tap into the ability of students’ science literacy by using teaching materials that are closer to student learning environments. This research aims to develop the local wisdom-based natural science module on the theme of Mount Kelud eruption, which is both theoretical and empirical. The type of this research development is Research and Development (R & D) by adapting the ASSURE instructional design. The results of this research are the validation results of theoretical feasibility of teaching materials based on the components of material feasibility of 87, 5% with very good category, components of presentation feasibility of 91, 7% with very good category, components of language feasibility of 88, 9% with very good category, components of local wisdom values of 87, 5% with very good category, and components of science literacy feasibility of 88, 9% with 88, 9% with very good category. The results of empirical feasibility are the test results of students’ science literacy with N-gain variation value of 0,2; 0,3; and 0,4 respectively with low, medium, and medium category. The results show that the developed local wisdom-based natural science module is suitable to improve the ability of students’ science literacy either theoretically or empirically.</p>

Analisis Penggunaan Model Pembelajaran Project Based Learning Dalam Peningkatan Keaktifan Siswa

This research has the aim to describe and describe the use of project based learning methods in terms of increasing student activity. The study was classified as a qualitative descriptive study. The subjects used in this study were students of class X OTKP at 2 Blitar Public Vocational School on Public Relations and Protocol. Data collection techniques used were observation and interviews. While data analysis techniques are used through several stages including data collection, data presentation and drawing conclusions. In the learning process students tend to be bored and less interested in the learning process that takes place because the method used is merely lecture and monotonous. Therefore this research was conducted so that students are more active in the learning process. The activeness of students in the learning process also has an important role in learning outcomes. The project based learning learning model is a scientific approach and consists of several stages, including observing, asking questions, gathering information, reasoning, and communicating. Through these various stages students can increase their role in the learning process.

PENGUATAN PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER BAGI SISWA SEKOLAH DASAR MELALUI KEARIFAN LOKAL

Abstrak Pendidikan Karakter merupakan aspek penting dalam mengembangkan ranah afektif, khususnya bagi anak usia Sekolah Dasar. Muatan pendidikan karakter diterapkan dalam pembelajaran di Sekolah Dasar berdasarkan materi dari standar isi kurikulum. Pendidikan Karakter penting untuk ditanamkan pada anak usia Sekolah Dasar karena untuk membentuk pribadi siswa agar memiliki nilai- nilai luhur bangsa dan dapat menjadi warga negara yang baik. Pendidikan karakter memiliki misi penting dalam menciptakan siswa yang tidak hanya pandai secara kognitif, namun juga berbudi pekerti yang luhur. Guru dapat mengembangkan materi berbasis kearifan lokal dengan berbagai kegiatan pembelajaran yang menarik yang diharapkan dapat mengembangkan karakter siswa seperti karakter kerja sama, toleransi, dan sikap peduli. Siswa sepatutnya memiliki sikap yang arif dan bijak dalam memandang kearifan lokal yang dimiliki oleh daerahnya, sebagai bagian dari pengembangan pendidikan karakter sebagai bekal dalam hidup bermasyarakat. Sehingga manfaat kajian ini adalah (1) memberikan ide kreatif bagi guru untuk mengembangkan materi pendidikan karakter bagi siswa selolah dasar yang berbasis keraifan lokal, (2) memotivasi guru dan orang tua untuk mengarahkan siswa menjadi pribadi yang cerdas dan berbudaya, dan (3) memotivasi semua pihak untuk melestarikan kekayaan budaya yang ada di daerah setempat. Kata Kunci : pendidikan karakter, kearifan lokal, sekolah dasar Abstract. Character Education is an important aspect in developing affective, especially for student at elementary school. Character education content is applied in Elementary School lessons based on material from curriculum. It is important to create good values of the nation and to be good citizens. Character education has an important mission in creating students who are not only clever cognitively, but also have good characters. Teachers can develop materials based on local wisdom with creative learning activities that to develop the character of students such as the character of cooperation, tolerance, and caring attitude. So the benefits of this study are (1) to provide creative ideas for teachers to develop character education materials for students based on local wisdom, (2) motivate teachers and parents to direct students into intelligent and cultured individuals, and (3) motivate all parties to preserve the cultural treasures that exist in the local area. Melanoma image classification based on MobileNetV2 network

Melanoma is one of the most common types of cancer that can lead to high mortality rates if not detected early. Recent studies about deep learning methods show promising results in the development of computer-aided diagnosis for accurate disease detection. Therefore, in this research, we propose a method for classifying melanoma images into benign and malignant classes by using deep learning model and transfer learning. MobileNetV2 network is used as the base model because it has lightweight network architecture. Therefore, the proposed system is promising to be implemented further on mobile devices. Moreover, experimental results on several melanoma datasets show that the proposed method can give high accuracy, up to 85%, compared with other networks. Furthermore, the proposed architecture of the head model, which uses a global average pooling layer followed by two fully-connected layers, gives high accuracy while maintaining the network’s efficiency.

Tourist satisfaction in Singapore – a perspective from Indonesian tourists

This research assessed the usefulness of integrating Kano’s model, SERVQUAL, and quality function deployment. The proposed approach aims to help organisations evaluate customer satisfaction, and to assist in innovative product/service development through the identification of attributes that are attractive to the customer. A case study is presented to evaluate the image of Singapore from the perspective of tourists from Indonesia. The attributes of Singapore as a tourist destination were analysed. Key strengths and weaknesses were determined. Change strategies and implications that surfaced from the integrated model were discussed.

Pentingnya Media Pembelajaran Untuk Meningkatkan Minat Belajar Siswa SD

Sekolah merupakan tempat bagi siswa dalam menuntut ilmu. Sering kita temui dalam kelas terdapat siswa yang kurang semangat dalam menuntut ilmu dan kurang tanggap terhadap apa yang disampaikan oleh guru. Siswa terkadang merasa bosan dengan model pembelajaran yang berbasis ceramah, sehingga sebagai pendidik perlu mengadakan evaluasi diri dan peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran di kelas. Dalam hal ini, peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran di kelas bisa dilakukan dengan berbagai cara dan guru memiliki peranan yang sangat penting dalam peningkatan minat belajar siswa dalam kelas sehingga siswa terasa nyaman dan ilmu yang mereka peroleh akan mudah mereka terima. Salah satu cara guru dalam meningkatkan minat belajar siswa dalam kelas bisa dilakukan dengan penggunaan media pembelajaran yang menarik pada setiap materi yang akan disampaikan. Media pembelajaran mempunyai peran penting untuk meningkatkan minat belajar siswa sekolah dasar,  khususnya  di  kelas  rendah,  karena  siswa  kelas  rendah belum mampu berpikir abstrak, sehingga materi yang diajarkan oleh guru perlu divisualisasikan dalam bentuk  yang lebih nyata/kongkrit. Secara ilmu psikologis media pembelajaran sangat membantu perkembangan psikologis anak dalam hal belajar. Selain  itu, penggunaan media dalam proses pembelajaran dapat pula memberikan pengalaman bermakna bagi para peserta didik. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media dalam proses pembelajaran dapat berimplikasi pada tiga hal, antara lain pada diri guru, pada diri siswa dan pada proses pembelajaran di ruang kelas. Dalam merancang media pembelajaran ada beberapa langkah yang harus diperhatikan, yakni: (1) media harus dirancang sesederhana mungkin sehingga jelas dan mudah dipahami oleh siswa; (2) media hendaknya dirancang sesuai dengan pokok bahasan yang akan diajarkan; (3) media hendaknya dirancang tidak terlalu rumit dan tidak membuat anak-anak menjadi bingung; (4) media hendaknya dirancang dengan bahan-bahan yang sederhana dan mudah didapat, tetapi tidak mengurangi makna dan fungsi media itu sendiri; (5) media dapat dirancang dalam bentuk model, gambar, bagan berstruktur, dan lain-lain, tetapi dengan bahan yang murah dan mudah didapat sehingga tidak menyulitkan guru dalam merancang media dimaksud.

Potato Leaf Disease Classification Using Deep Learning Approach

Potato is one of the staple foods that widely consumed, becoming the 4th staple food consumed throughout the world. Also, the world demand for potato is increasing significantly, primarily due to the world pandemic coronavirus. However, potato diseases are the leading cause of the decline in the quality and quantity of the harvest. Inappropriate classification and late detection of the disease's type will drastically worsen the plant conditions. Fortunately, several diseases in potato plants can be identified based on leaf conditions. Therefore, in this paper, we present a system to classify the four types of diseases in potato plants based on leaf conditions by utilising deep learning using the VGG16 and VGG19 convolutional neural network architecture model to obtain an accurate classification system. This experiment has achieved an average accuracy of 91%, which indicates the feasibility of the deep neural network approach.

Keefektifan Penggunaan Media Pembelajaran Berbasis Game Edukasi Quizizz Terhadap Hasil Belajar Teknologi Perkantoran Siswa Kelas X SMK Ketintang Surabaya

This research aims to determine the effectiveness of the effectiveness of learning media based educational game quizizz on student outcomes office technology grade X SMK Ketintang Surabaya. This type of research is using quasi experimental design. The circuit was conducted on all class X OTKP 2 students as a control class and X OTKP 3 as an experimental class. Analytical techniques use homogeneity test, normality test, hypothesis test and gain score test. The results of the study expressed the Posttest value obtained by t-test of 2.154 with a signification of 0.036 and a value of 2.002 with a level of significance 0.005 which means signification (0.036) < 0.05 and t-test (2.154) > ttable (2.002).The result of Gain Score the Pretest and Posttest value is 3,212 with a signication 0,002 and the value ttable is 2,002 with signification 0,05. So it can be concluded that the use of learning media based on Quizizz educational Game effectively improve student learning outcomes on the subject of office technology class X OTKP in SMK Ketintang Surabaya.

ABTRACTStudents in elementary schools enter a concrete operational stage, so that they need a media to be able to grasp various existing concepts. One of the subjects that seems abstract is mathematics. Mathematics learning requires concrete objects and explanations. The existence of this corona virus outbreak makes learning must be completely online, math is no exception. The purpose of this study is to describe the process of learning mathematics during the corona virus pandemic takes place and explain the impact of being online during the corona virus. This research method is a qualitative method using interviews and literature study. The results of this study are the process of learning mathematics conducted online in various schools and some are still requiring parents to take their children's assignments to school. Various impacts are felt during online learning in the midst of this pandemic, there are positive and negative ones.Keywords: corona virus, the impact of mathematics learning, the process of learning mathematics. ABSTRAKPeserta didik di sekolah dasar memasuki tahap operasional konkrit, sehingga memerlukan suatu media untuk dapat menangkap berbagai konsep yang ada. Salah satu mata pelajaran yang terkesan abstrak adalah matematika. Pembelajaran matematika memerlukan benda konkrit dan penjelasan dari guru. Adanya wabah virus corona ini menjadikan pembelajaran harus serba online, tidak terkecuali matematika. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan proses belajar matematika selama pandemi virus corona ini berlangsung dan memaparkan dampak dari adanya daring selama pandemi virus corona. Metode penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan menggunakan wawancara dan studi pustaka. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah proses pembelajaran matematika dilakukan secara daring di berbagai sekolah dan ada pula yang masih mengharuskan untuk orang tuanya mengambil tugas anaknya ke sekolah. Raising financial literation and inclusion of financial can developing small micro entrepreneurship (UMKM) because the agent of UMKM can undesrtand the basic concept of financial product, planning and good management financial, also protecting then from deception and unhealthy work from financial market. This research purposes to know the affection of financial literation and financial inclusion toward developing UMKM work in Sidoarjo area. This research is used ex-post facto with the quantitative approaching. The collected data of the research based on the interview and quetioner distribution with sampling technique which is simple random sampling. Technique of data analysis in this research is analysis of linier double regression with helping program SPSS computer. The result of this research can conclude that financial literation and financial inclusive prove that be an affected factor of developing work UMKM in Sidoarjo. The focus of this research was to investigate the effect of green market orientation on business performance. For that purpose, this research tested that green market orientation has a direct effect on business performance, that green market orientation affects green innovation, and that green innovation affects business performance. As a quantitative research, partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) was used to test the hypotheses. Data were collected by using both online and offline questionnaires from owners/managers of the manufacturing micro, small-and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) in the East Java Province of Indonesia. A total of 175 respondents participated in this study. The results show that green market orientation has a positive and direct effect on business performance. The results empirically support the theory of sustainability and entrepreneurship in the research setting of Indonesian MSMEs. The results also imply that the owners/managers of MSMEs need to balance economic, environmental, and social issues in their business. In the era of sustainable development and environmental awareness, manufacturing MSMEs need to adopt a green market orientation and carry out green innovation in their business processes to obtain a better business performance.

This study aims to find laternatif way to improve society’s reading prolicity, particularly for school members, as a solution to overcome the low of reading. The reading prolicity has a great influence to the progress of the nation-state. Compare to the neighbor country, Indonesian reading prolicity is still low. It is a key to boost the progress because the capability of science and technology can be achieved through reading skills. Family, society, and educational institution have significant role in improving reading skills. It is responsible for all elements of society like librarian, teachers, parents, and society itselves. Librarian and teachers have direct responsible in improving that. To deal with that, it is good to give stimulant in gaining the reading tradition. The reading force is not effective for students. It is also unrecognized to force student to buy books.

Building an Online Community: Student Teachers’ Perceptions on the Advantages of Using Social Networking Services in A Teacher Education Program

This inquiry examined student teachers' perceptions on the advantages of using Social Networking Services (SNS) in an English teacher education program at a public university in Jambi, Indonesia to ease the communication, supervision, discussion, and report submissions between supervisors and student teachers. The networking types included in the program are Whatsapp, Telegram, Email, and Google Form. The method of the research was qualitative through using focus group discussions as the technique of collecting data involving forty-two student teachers. We organized our analysis and discussion around their perceptions and the contexts in which the advantages they perceived emerge. The analyses of the texts revealed that two salient themes with their sub-themes related to the advantages of using Social Networking Services (SNS) in a teacher education program were social interaction (peer discussion and platform to interact with supervisors or lecturers) and learning motivation and experience supports (self-directed learning, promotes critical thinking, content engagement). Some pedagogical and social implications are also discussed.
