SummaryEarth's warming climate is causing heat waves to become more frequent, longer lasting, and hotter, while occurring in locations unaccustomed to such weather events. Extreme heat events (EHEs), such as those in the western United States, India, Pakistan, Central Europe, and other locations in recent years, are one of the deadliest consequences of climate change. EHEs cause excess morbidity and mortality directly from heat illness, aggravation of comorbid conditions, and exacerbation of the damaging health effects of social factors as well as indirectly from corollary events such as wildfires and air pollution. Climate change–related EHEs are projected to worsen for at least the next 3 decades, necessitating that health systems be prepared to meet a growing burden of heat-related illnesses and become more heat resilient, as well as to reduce health care–related climate impacts. In this article, the authors discuss the health effects of EHEs and provide illustrative examples of what health systems can do to promote climate readiness and heat resiliency.
Surgical site infection (SSI) is a growing global concern. The principal explanation for this is its adverse clinical outcomes, such as morbidity and mortality. However, the link between the economic burden of SSIs and patient outcomes needs to be sufficiently characterized. This review aims to describe the financial implications of SSIs on patient outcomes in low- and middle-income countries (LMIC). Despite the heterogeneity in study designs from multiple LMIC countries, there is a significant correlation between SSI-associated healthcare costs from increased length of stay (LOS), readmissions, reoperations, and adverse patient outcomes. This varies based on the size, degree of infection, or other patient comorbidities. SSIs are much more prevalent in LMICs. The additional financial burden incurred in managing SSIs reinforces the need to prioritize practicing interventions to prevent this complication, which resource-limited health institutions are unequipped to do and consequently have significant adverse patient outcomes.
INTRODUCTION: Few studies have evaluated the reliability and reproducibility of the femoral neck-shaft angle (NSA), center-edge angle (CEA), and acetabular index (AI) in young children with developmental dysplasia of the hip (DDH). We wanted to determine whether these parameters could be used reliably by practitioners. METHODS: Fifty radiographs from 21 children with DDH were reviewed. Analysis was performed by three observers, at two time periods. The intra- and inter-observer reliability for each measure was assessed. RESULTS: At time period one, we noted a "high" level of agreement between observers when measuring the NSA, a "low" level when measuring the CEA, and a "moderate" level when measuring the AI. At time period two, we noted a "very high" level of agreement between observers when measuring the NSA and a "high" level when measuring the CEA and AI. When comparing the measurements of observer 1 at the two different time periods, we noted nearly "very high" agreement when measuring the NSA, a "moderate" agreement when measuring the CEA, and a "high" agreement for the AI. In comparing the measurements of observer 2, we noted "very high" agreement for the NSA and "high" agreement for the CEA and AI. In comparing the measurements for observer 3, we noted nearly "very high" agreement for the NSA, nearly "high" agreement for the CEA, and "high" agreement for the AI. CONCLUSION: It is difficult to reliably measure three-dimensional pelvic morphology on a frontal plane radiograph, especially when important pelvic landmarks have yet to ossify.
AIM: ) in comparison to chlorhexidine and fluoride mouthwash. MATERIALS AND METHODS: test were used at 5% level of significance to analyze data. RESULTS: was 20 mg/mL and 12.5 mg/mL, respectively by both broth dilution method and agar dilution method. CONCLUSION: was comparable to chlorhexidine mouthwash while significantly higher in comparison with aqueous form and fluoride mouthwash. CLINICAL SIGNIFICANCE: in oral cavity and hence can be recommended for prevention of dental caries.
Background: The cerebrovascular stroke is one of the leading causes of morbidity & mortality in adult life. After coronary heart disease & cancer of all types, stroke is the third commonest cause of death worldwide. Indian studies have shown a stroke prevalence of 471.58/100000 population. The objective was to study the clinical presentation, risk factors, neurological presentation, pattern of brain strokes, areas of brain affected as per CT scan findings in pts GMERS medical college and hospital Gandhinagar. Methods: This is a retrospective study of all new patients managed for stroke in the medical ward of GMERS medical college and hospital, Gandhinagar, Gujarat from January1, 2012 to December 31, 2013. Results: The cerebrovascular strokes are more common in males (59.7%) than females (40.3%). Most common age group was 61-70 years (32.8%). Most common clinical feature was hemiplegia (72.6%). Most common risk factor was Hypertension (34%) followed by past h/o cerebrovascular stroke (15%), smoking (14%), dyslipidemia (13%). Most common type of stroke was ischemic (74.6%) & hemorrhagic was 2 nd (22.9%). In ischemic stroke most common involved areas were parietal (33.7%), frontal (16.7%). In hemorrhagic stroke most common site was thalamus (24.7%) followed by ventricular (17.5%). Conclusions: The cerebrovascular stroke cases were having male predominance with Hypertension was the most common risk factor and most common type of stroke was ischemic.
BACKGROUND: The emergence of resistance to anti-tuberculosis drugs in general and Multi Drug Resistan Tuberculosis (MDR-TB) in particular, has become a significant public health problem and an obstacle to effective TB control. Baseline and adequate information on epidemiological factors and their interaction are prerequisites for its effective control. OBJECTIVES: To study socio-demographic profile, housing environment, health-seeking behaviour, present and past history regarding treatment of tuberculosis, drug resistance pattern and the preventive practice adopted by the patients. METHODOLOGY: A cross-sectional study was carried out on 81 MDR-TB patients registered under RNTCP of Ahmedabad city during July 2007-June 2008. To accomplish the objectives, information was collected by personal interviews using pre-designed, pre-tested proforma. Data, so collected, was analyzed and tabulated using appropriate statistical software. RESULTS: More than 2/3rd were males and majority were in age group 16-45 years, educated up to primary level, living in overcrowded and ill-ventilated houses. Initially almost all had pulmonary TB. At the start of category II, maximum number of patients were defaulters, the prime cause being financial crunch. The mean number of Anti Tubercular Treatment (ATT) taken before start of category IV was 2.85. More than 90% experienced side-effects of drugs. Although indiscriminate spitting was less, other methods of sputum disposal were also unsafe. Resistance to all four drugs (H, R, S & E) was found in more than 2/3rd of cases. Smear and culture conversion rate at three month follow up was 62.0% and 58.7% respectively. Only one patient (1.2%) was reactive for HIV in the study. Most of the patients perceived some degree of improvement in their condition following treatment. CONCLUSION: Most of the MDR cases were living in poor environmental conditions, had previous history of TB and defaulter of treatment regimen prescribed. Motivation of private practitioners for increasing referrals, use of incentives and enablers, enhancing contact tracing and increasing awareness regarding sputum disposal practices and measures to prevent the spread are necessary for effective control of tuberculosis.
OBJECTIVES: To study the percentage seropositivity for SARS-CoV-2 to understand the pandemic status and predict the future situations in Ahmedabad. STUDY DESIGN: Cross-sectional study. SETTINGS: Field area of Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation. PARTICIPANTS: More than 30 000 individuals irrespective of their age, sex, acute/past COVID-19 infection participated in the serosurvey which covered all the 75 Urban Primary Health Centres (UPHCs) across 48 wards and 7 zones of the city. Study also involved healthcare workers (HCWs) from COVID-19/non-COVID-19 hospitals. INTERVENTIONS: Seropositivity of IgG antibodies against SARS-CoV-2 was measured as a mark of COVID-19 infection. PRIMARY AND SECONDARY OUTCOMES: Seropositivity was used to calculate cumulative incidence. Correlation of seropositivity with available demographic detail was used for valid and precise assessment of the pandemic situation. RESULTS: From 30 054 samples, the results were available for 29 891 samples and the crude seropositivity is 17.61%. For all the various age groups, the seropositivity calculated between 15% and 20%. The difference in seropositivity for both the sex group is statistically not significant. The seropositivity is significantly lower (13.64%) for HCWs as compared with non-HCWs (18.71%). Seropositivity shows increasing trend with time. Zone with maximum initial cases has high positivity as compared with other zones. UPHCs with recent rise in cases are leading in seropositivity as compared with earlier and widely affected UPHCs. CONCLUSIONS: The results of serosurveillance suggest that the population of Ahmedabad is still largely susceptible. People still need to follow preventive measures to protect themselves till an effective vaccine is available to the people at large. The data indicate the possibility of vanishing immunity over time and need further research to cross verify with scientific evidences.
Background: The word enuresis is derived from a Greek word ( enourein ) that means “to void urine.” It can occur either during the day or at night (though some restrict the term to bedwetting that occurs at night). Enuresis can be divided into primary and secondary forms. Aim of current study was to find out the prevalence and underlying its risk factors of nocturnal enuresis in age groups 5 to 12 years in the rural areas of the district. Methods: The study was done during the year 2011-12 among 1258 school children residing in rural areas of Ahmadabad district of Gujarat state by the help of health personnel staff with the cooperation of the teaching staff and all the parents of the children. Results: There were 869 males and 389 females. We found the prevalence of nocturnal enuresis in 11.13% of total subjects. Nocturnal enuresis was more common in males than in females, 91/140 in males and 49/140 in female children. Conclusions: Our findings suggest that nocturnal enuresis is a common problem among school children especially with low income, lower age, family history of enuresis and history of urinary tract infection. Enuresis is a pediatric public health problem and efforts at all levels should be made such as preventive, etiological and curative. The ratio of males to females in this study was 1.86 that is comparable to other data of the same study.
ABSTRACT: The aim of the study was to evaluate results of closed intramedullary nailing using Talwarkar square nails in adult forearm fractures. We prospectively evaluated 34 patients with both bone forearm fractures. The average time to union was 12.8 (SD +3.2) weeks with cast support for a mean of 8.2 weeks. Union was achieved in 31 out of 34 patients. Using the Grace and Eversmann rating system, 17 patients were excellent, 10 were good, and 4 had an acceptable result. Three patients had non-unions, 2 for the radius and one for the ulna. There were two cases of superficial infection, one subject had olecranon bursitis, and one case of radio-ulnar synostosis. Complication rates associated with the use of square nails were lower compared to plate osteosynthesis and locked intramedullary nails. To control rotation postoperatively, there is a need for application of an above-elbow cast after nailing. Purpose: To report the prevalence of keratoconus (KCN) in patients presenting for refractive surgery in western India.METHODS: A cross-sectional, observational, retrospective study performed at a tertiary eye care center. A total of 2902 cases, aged 18–40 years who presented in the refractive surgery department between January 2014 and December 2018 were included. Records of all the included cases were reviewed. Patients showing KCN pattern on topography were noted and divided into KCN and KCN suspects. Annual and overall 5-year prevalence were calculated at 95% confidence interval (CI). Demographic details of KCN and non-KCN participants were compared.RESULTS: Of the 2902 cases, 25 (0.86%) had clinical KCN and 22 (0.76%) were KCN suspects. The combined 5-year prevalence of all these 47 KCN cases was 1.61% (95% CI: 1.15%-2.07%), with an annual prevalence range of 0.97%–2.43%. The mean age of non-KCN cases was 24.60 ± 4.91 years and KCN cases was 24.62 ± 5.37 years (P = 0.98). Among the KCN cases, there were more females (30; 63.83%), and the gender ratio was significantly different than non-KCN cases (P = 0.004).CONCLUSION: The prevalence of KCN in refractive surgery cases was 1.61% which is higher than those found in the western population and lower than those found in the Middle East (Saudi Arabia and Iran). Furthermore, topographic examination performed during the routine screening of patients for refractive surgery can be a useful tool to diagnose new cases of KCN in asymptomatic patients.
Indian cities struggle with some of the highest ambient air pollution levels in the world. While national efforts are building momentum towards concerted action to reduce air pollution, individual cities are taking action on this challenge to protect communities from the many health problems caused by this harmful environmental exposure. In 2017, the city of Ahmedabad launched a regional air pollution monitoring and risk communication project, the Air Information and Response (AIR) Plan. The centerpiece of the plan is an air quality index developed by the Indian Institute of Tropical Meteorology’s System for Air Quality and Weather Forecasting and Research program that summarizes information from 10 new continuous air pollution monitoring stations in the region, each reporting data that can help people avoid harmful exposures and inform policy strategies to achieve cleaner air. This paper focuses on the motivation, development, and implementation of Ahmedabad’s AIR Plan. The project is discussed in terms of its collaborative roots, public health purpose in addressing the grave threat of air pollution (particularly to vulnerable groups), technical aspects in deploying air monitoring technology, and broader goals for the dissemination of an air quality index linked to specific health messages and suggested actions to reduce harmful exposures. The city of Ahmedabad is among the first cities in India where city leaders, state government, and civil society are proactively working together to address the country’s air pollution challenge with a focus on public health. The lessons learned from the development of the AIR Plan serve as a template for other cities aiming to address the heavy burden of air pollution on public health. Effective working relationships are vital since they form the foundation for long-term success and useful knowledge sharing beyond a single city.
AIM: This cross-sectional study aimed to assess the predominant polarity (PP) in patients with bipolar disorder (BD) and the factors associated with PP. METHODOLOGY: For this study, 773 participants with at least 10 years of illness, were recruited from 14 centres, were evaluated using the National Institute of Mental Health- Retrospective Life Charts to assess the course of illness and PP was determined by both Barcelona proposal and the Harvard Index. RESULTS: According to Barcelona proposal for PP, 20.6% of the patients belonged to depressive PP, 45.8% belonged to manic PP and 33.6% belonged to indeterminate polarity. According to Harvard index of PP, 31.6% of the patients belonged to depressive PP, 56.1% belonged to manic polarity and 12.3% of the patients could not be categorized into any of these categories and hence, were considered to have indeterminate polarity. Those with depressive PP were more often having BD-II, had later age of onset, spent more time in episodes, had higher residual depressive symptoms, had lower residual manic symptoms, more often had depression as the first lifetime episode, and less often had at least one psychotic episode. CONCLUSION: In the Indian subcontinent, although the prevalence of PP is influenced by the definition used, the most common PP is that of mania.
BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVES: Current programs in medical education technology concentrate mainly upon "how-to-teach." The focus is needed on learner's memory retention too. An innovative strategy like concept mapping might be a way forward. The study was carried out to assess its effectiveness and to know students' perceptions. MATERIALS AND METHODS: During community medicine classes, a student-group was sensitized on how to make and use concept maps out of taught contents. At the end of epidemiology exercises sessions, this group was given additional minutes to prepare concept maps, interact, and brainstorm followed by quick QA session. Others were taught same contents in conventional way. Performances of both groups were assessed in one immediate (term-ending) and one distant (preliminary) exam. Feedback was also taken from study group. RESULTS: = 5.754, df = 121.9). Largely positive feedback was received on utility of concept maps in memorizing, confidence-boosting, and understanding subject. Felt need for innovations in conventional teaching-learning (T-L) was palpable. CONCLUSION: Time has come to start focusing on enhancing students' learning. Performance-enhancing utility of concept maps is proven and should be integrated in regular T-L.
OBJECTIVE: To compare the efficacy and safety of recombinant anti-D (R-anti-D) with conventional polyclonal anti-D (Poly anti-D) in preventing maternal-fetal rhesus D (RhD) alloimmunization and to investigate the immunogenicity of R-anti-D. METHODS: This was a randomized, open-label, multi-center clinical trial conducted in RhD-negative pregnant women who did not receive antenatal anti-D who delivered RhD-positive babies and showed negative indirect Coombs tests (ICTs) at baseline. The women were randomized in a 2:1 ratio to R-anti-D or Poly anti-D groups and were administered 300 mcg (IM) of the corresponding drug within 72 hours of delivery. ICT was performed 72 hours, 90 days, and 180 days after anti-D injection. Serum samples were collected to check for the development of antibodies against R-anti-D at days 90 and 180, using bridging enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. The proportion of subjects who had positive ICT results at days 90 and 180 were compared between the groups using Fisher's exact test. RESULTS: A total of 144 women were randomized to the R-anti-D group and 71 to the Poly anti-D group. Three women in the R-anti-D and none in the Poly anti-D group had a positive ICT result at day 90. No woman in either group had positive ICT result at day 180. Both drugs were well tolerated with only 4 reports of adverse events in each group-all were mild, non-serious, and resolved without sequelae. No subject developed antibodies against R-anti-D. Neuralgia is characterized by chronic pain resulting from damage or diseases in the somatosensory system, including nerves responsible for transmitting sensory information. Current treatments for neuropathic pain, which is a type of neuralgia, have limited success rates and can cause unwanted side effects. Since 1989, botulinum toxin-A (BTX-A), derived from the potent neurotoxin Clostridium botulinum, has been used to treat neuropathic pain in humans. BTX-A has shown analgesic effects by inhibiting the release of neurotransmitters involved in pain transmission. This review aims to evaluate the effectiveness of BTX-A in various types of neuralgia. The research question guiding this review is whether BTX-A is safe and effective in reducing pain in different types of neuralgias. To conduct this review, a literature search was performed using the PubMed, Medline, and PubMed Central databases. The search strategy included relevant keywords related to BTX-A, neuralgia, and neuropathic pain. After screening titles, abstracts, and full texts, a total of 30 articles were included in the review. These studies examined the efficacy of BTX-A in various conditions such as postherpetic neuralgia (PHN), auriculotemporal neuralgia (ATN), occipital neuralgia (ON), leprosy-induced neuropathic pain (LIN), focal painful neuropathies, complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS), trigeminal neuralgia (TN), and neuropathic pain associated with spinal cord injury. However, further research is needed to enhance our understanding of the optimal use of BTX-A in specific neuralgias. It is important to acknowledge the limitations of the included studies. Nevertheless, BTX-A might be considered a viable treatment option for neuralgia.
Protein supplements are widely consumed by athletes as well as young adults and teenagers going to the gym and are an excellent source to increase protein intake, build muscle mass, and enhance recovery. They are available in the form of powders, gummies, protein bars, and ready-to-drink shakes and have been shown to have effects on almost every system in the body. Subjects consuming whey protein-based supplements regularly show significantly lower systolic blood pressure, while subjects who consume soy-based protein supplements have been reported to show a significant decrease in their systolic and diastolic blood pressures. Favorable effects of soy protein consumption have been observed on the serum lipid profile, with significant decreases in serum low-density lipoprotein and triglyceride levels. Lower postprandial glucose levels have been observed in diabetic subjects as well, which can be attributed to the lower glycemic index of these supplements. This can lead to an indirect decrease in diabetes-related complications. While these supplements affect the body positively, caution has to be exercised while consuming them in excess, as they have been shown to cause hyperfiltration and increased urinary calcium excretion which can, in turn, lead to chronic kidney disease development. This article focuses on the effects of protein supplementation on the human body, with emphasis on the cardiovascular, endocrine, and renal systems.
Abstract Background The frequency and temporal trend in the prevalence of arrhythmias and associated in‐hospital outcomes in patients with sickle cell disease (SCD) have never been quantified. Methods Our study cohort of SCD patients and sub‐types of arrhythmias were derived from the 2010‐2014 National Inpatient Sample using relevant diagnostic codes. The frequency and trends of arrhythmia and odds of inpatient mortality were measured. Results A total of 891 450 hospitalized SCD patients were identified, of which, 55 616 (6.2%) patients experienced arrhythmias. The SCD cohort with arrhythmia demonstrated higher all‐cause mortality (2.7% vs 0.4%; adjusted OR 2.53, 95% CI 2.15‐2.97, P < .001), prolonged hospital stays (6.9 vs 5.0 days) and higher hospital charges ($53 871 vs $30 905) relative to those without arrhythmias ( P < .001).The frequency of supraventricular arrhythmia (AFib, SVT, and AF) and ventricular arrhythmia (VFib and VT) were 1893 and 362 per 100 000 SCD‐related admissions, respectively. Unspecified arrhythmias (4126) were seen most frequently followed by AFib (1622) per 100 000 SCD‐related admissions. From 2010 to 2014, the frequency of any arrhythmias and atrial fibrillation in hospitalized SCD patients relatively increased by 29.6% and 38.5%, respectively. There was nearly a twofold (2.4% in 2010 to 5.0% in 2014) increase in the frequency of arrhythmia among patients aged <18 years. The frequency of arrhythmias in hospitalized male and female SCD patients relatively increased by 28.8% and 31.4%, respectively ( P trend < .001). Conclusions The frequency of arrhythmias among SCD patients is on the rise with worse hospitalization outcomes, including higher in‐hospital mortality and higher resource utilization as compared to those without arrhythmias.
BACKGROUND: Increased occurrence of mucormycosis during the second wave of COVID-19 pandemic in early 2021 in India prompted us to undertake a multi-site case-control investigation. The objectives were to examine the monthly trend of COVID-19 Associated Mucormycosis (CAM) cases among in-patients and to identify factors associated with development of CAM. METHODS: Eleven study sites were involved across India; archived records since 1st January 2021 till 30th September 2021 were used for trend analysis. The cases and controls were enrolled during 15th June 2021 to 30th September 2021. Data were collected using a semi-structured questionnaire. Among 1211 enrolled participants, 336 were CAM cases and 875 were COVID-19 positive non-mucormycosis controls. RESULTS: CAM-case admissions reached their peak in May 2021 like a satellite epidemic after a month of in-patient admission peak recorded due to COVID-19. The odds of developing CAM increased with the history of working in a dusty environment (adjusted odds ratio; aOR 3.24, 95% CI 1.34, 7.82), diabetes mellitus (aOR: 31.83, 95% CI 13.96, 72.63), longer duration of hospital stay (aOR: 1.06, 95% CI 1.02, 1.11) and use of methylprednisolone (aOR: 2.71, 95% CI 1.37, 5.37) following adjustment for age, gender, occupation, education, type of houses used for living, requirement of ventilatory support and route of steroid administration. Higher proportion of CAM cases required supplemental oxygen compared to the controls; use of non-rebreather mask (NRBM) was associated as a protective factor against mucormycosis compared to face masks (aOR: 0.18, 95% CI 0.08, 0.41). Genomic sequencing of archived respiratory samples revealed similar occurrences of Delta and Delta derivates of SARS-CoV-2 infection in both cases and controls. CONCLUSIONS: Appropriate management of hyperglycemia, judicious use of steroids and use of NRBM during oxygen supplementation among COVID-19 patients have the potential to reduce the risk of occurrence of mucormycosis. Avoiding exposure to dusty environment would add to such prevention efforts.
AIM: This study aimed to evaluate the prevalence of unipolar mania (UM) in a group of patients of bipolar disorder (BD). Additionally, effort was made to evaluate the demographic, clinical and treatment related factors, which distinguish subjects of UM from BD. METHODOLOGY: Seven hundred and seventy-three patients with BD, of at least 10 years duration, recruited from 14 General Hospital Units of tertiary care centers from India were evaluated for UM. RESULTS: The prevalence of UM, varied from 5.4% to 20.3%, depending on the definition used. With the most stringent definition of ≥4 episodes of mania and at least 5 years of follow-up, the prevalence of UM was 5.4%. Compared to patients of BD, who have episodes other than mania too, those with UM had lower proportion of patients with lifetime history of suicide attempts, spent less time in the episodes in their lifetime and had lower severity of residual depressive and manic symptoms. Further, compared to those with episodes other than mania too, those with UM had higher number of manic episodes per year of illness, had higher proportion of patients who had more than five episodes in the lifetime and had higher proportion of those with at least one episode with psychotic symptoms in the lifetime. CONCLUSION: The present study suggests that a small proportion of patients with BD have UM course and this runs a different clinical course compared to that seen in patients with traditionally recognized as BD.
BACKGROUND: Health Care Workers (HCWs) are at higher risk for Covid19. Sero-surveillance among HCWs using IgG antibodies can add further value to the scientific findings. OBJECTIVES: To estimate seropositivity among HCWs and to correlate it with various factors affecting seropositivity. METHODS: Population based large scale sero-surveillance among HCWs was carried out during second half of August'20 in Ahmedabad using "Covid-Kavach" IgG Antibody Detection ELISA kits. Seropositivity among HCWs was estimated and compared with various demographic & other factors to understand their infection & immunity status. Proportions and Z-test were used as appropriate. RESULTS: As on August'20, Seropositivity among HCWs from Ahmedabad is 23.65% (95% Confidence Interval 21.70-25.73%). Seropositivity of 25.98% (95%CI 23.47-28.66) among female HCWs is significantly higher than 19.48% (95%CI 16.53-22.80) among male HCWs. The zone wise positivity among HCWs closely correlate with cases reported from the respective zone. The sero-positivity among HCWs from the earliest and worst affected zones have lower level of seropositivity as compared to the zones affected recently. This might be pointing towards the fact that the IgG Antibodies may not be long lasting. CONCLUSION: As on August 2020, the seropositivity of 23.65% in HCWs indicate high level of disease transmission and higher risk of infection among HCWs in Ahmedabad. The seropositivity is significantly higher among female HCWs. Zone wise seropositivity, closely correlate with the reported cases from the respective zone. Their comparison also indicates the possibility of reducing IgG seropositivity, which necessitates further in-depth scientific research to generate greater scientific evidences.
