Abstract

Meso-macroporous hierarchical poly(ionic liquid)s are ionothermally synthesized through self-polymerization of the new divinylimidazole IL, exhibiting enhanced CO 2 capture and excellent activity in the cycloaddition of CO 2 to epoxides.
