Abstract

Novel propeller-shaped non-fullerene small molecule acceptors with imide-linked perylene diimides on a 9,9′-spirobi[9 H -fluorene] core, namely SF-iPDI2 and SF-iPDI4, were designed and synthesized for organic solar cells.
