Abstract

A novel composite adsorbent, consisting of three-dimensional honeycomb-like porous carbon and MnO 2 nanowires (HLPC/MnO 2 ), has been successfully synthesized and is an excellent adsorbent for removing uranium( vi ) ions from aqueous solutions.
