Abstract

Li 7 La 3 Zr 2 O 12 (LLZO) reacts with humid air; the most favorable reaction pathway involves protonation of LLZO and formation of Li 2 CO 3 . The air exposure-induced contamination layer impacts the Li–LLZO interfacial resistance.
