Abstract

Operando , spatiotemporal resolved synchrotron X-ray fluorescence mapping measurements on a custom aqueous Zn/α-MnO 2 cell provided direct, quantitative evidence of a Mn dissolution-deposition faradaic mechanism that governs the electrochemistry.
